The Plastic club awards include cash and certificates for first second and third prizes, and ceritifcates only for honorable mentions. Members are elegible for the Gold and Silver medals, which have been awarded annually since 1912.

A recent addition is the William Zeigler prize, which was begun by the member for whom it is named.

In 1916, the Plastic Club awarded a special medal for sculpture. This was designed by the sculptor Auguste Rodin.

The Rodin medal featured these inscriptions by the sculptor:

"Art is the joy of the mind that penetrates nature and divines the spirit by which itself is animated."

"One produces are only by approaching truth. Nature, therefore, is the only model that one should follow."

"Conscience is the only plumbline of the artist."
