Karen Hagen is a recent graduate of The University of the Arts.  She works almost entirely in digital medium, her illustrations focusing on humans and animals and their interactions with the world around them. 

Karen's work has been displayed in Philadelphia at The University of the Arts' William H. Ely Illustration Exhibit and in New York at The Society of Illustrators' Student Exhibition. Further recognitions include The Society of Illustrators' Matching Grant, The University of the Arts President's Award Nomination, and Ted Carey Scholarship Nomination.  She found her way to the Plastic Club via an Honorary Membership presented to her by Michael Guinn upon graduation.
